Ginger

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Ginger has been working as a Veterinary Technician since 1999. She joined The Pet Stop team in July 2002. She enjoys running, hiking, cross-country skiing, and other outdoor activities with her three children and two dogs.

Emily

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Emily joined The Pet Stop team in 2015. She moved to Alaska from Wisconsin in 2011 after spending her summers growing up at a fishing lodge on Lake Clark. She enjoys hiking, fishing, and participating in multiple dog sports with her border collie mixes Outlaw and Pivot, and her cattle dog Waylon.

Jessica

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jessica joined The Pet Stop team in 2008 after moving to Alaska from Kentucky. She has always had a passion for animals and providing care for them. In addition to working in veterinary clinics, Jessica has volunteered with animal shelters, rescue groups, and animal spay/ neuter assistance programs. She has worked as a Veterinary Technician since 2001 and received her license in 2009. In 2016, Jessica moved into the position of practice manager. Jessica and her husband foster dogs for local rescues and they enjoy their three saltwater aquariums.

Michelle

Vet Tech Assistant

Hi, My name is Michelle. I moved from San Antonio to Alaska in the Summer of 2021. I have always enjoyed being around and working with animals. I started my animal career as a groomer/ bather but decided I wanted to learn more about my furry friends. Now I am working at The Pet Stop learning how to become a Vet Tech Assistant! I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to grow in a field I love so much.
