Dr. Chris Michetti
Veterinarian
Dr. Chris Michetti received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Missouri. Her special interests include endoscopy and soft tissue surgery. Chris and her husband enjoy fishing, flying, and playing with their two cattle dogs, Pesto and Orzo.
Dr. William M. Willis
Veterinarian
The Pet Stop welcomed Dr. William M. Willis to join our team in 2020. Dr. Willis was born and raised in Anchorage and journeyed to the lower 48 after high school to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He attended Tuskegee University in Alabama for a bachelor’s degree in biology. During his studies, he worked as a research student for multiple summers and even returned to Alaska to work with the local moose population in conjunction with the University of Alaska Anchorage. After receiving his Bachelor’s, he then traveled to Indiana and attended Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Graduating with his D.V.M., he decided to bring his talents back to Alaska to treat our adventurous pet population.
His hobbies include fishing, both down at Ship Creek and dip netting on the Kenai, and biking through the trails of Anchorage. He also loves to travel internationally visiting and exploring a dozen different countries. His interests in the veterinary field include preventative medicine, wildlife, and surgery.
Dr. Willis is a competent and hardworking lifelong learner with years of diverse veterinary-related experience. He is eager to collaborate with his fellow doctors at The Pet Stop and provide the best veterinary care possible for your pets.

Dr. Riley Wilson
Veterinarian
After several decades of dedicated work providing healthcare to animals in our community, Dr. Riley Wilson retired in December of 2021. He helped to build The Pet Stop into what we are today and has become an integral part of our lives and those of our clients. We are so happy for him, as in his retirement he can spend more time with family, friends and his other passion in life, fishing.
