Ultrasound
Ultrasound is an imaging technique that allows the visualization of the internal organs, muscles, joints, and more. While radiographs provide a 2D image, ultrasound provides a 3D image. This imaging can provide valuable information for diagnosing conditions and help direct treatment.
Dr. Linda Chang provides diagnostic ultrasound services for our patients and, on a limited basis, takes referrals for other veterinarians.
Endoscopy Center
An endoscopy is an anesthetized procedure that allows the doctor to visualize the internal anatomy with a camera.
1) Rhinoscopy is the scope of the upper airways. This can help evaluate nasal obstructions, chronic sneezing, nose bleeds, or other symptoms of rhinitis.
2) Colonoscopy is the scope of the lower GI tract. A colonoscopy views for polyps, irritated tissue, ulcers, and potential cancer concerns.
3) Bronchoscopy is the scope of the airways. Many lung diseases can be diagnosed this way. Including but not limited to: fungi, cancers, bacterial infections, and asthma.
4) Upper GI endoscopy involves the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum (the first part of the small intestine.) An upper GI scope can be utilized to retrieve a foreign body or diagnose ailments.
